Valerie Schwane Torres

For the 19-year-old Berlin-based young woman, multiculturalism has always been part of her life and is ultimately reflected in the city in which she lives. Her German-Mexican roots and the experience of both cultures have enabled her to perceive different perspectives and views about life. Through regular travelling and contact with people from different backgrounds, an open mentality has established itself in her personality and everyday life. She describes herself as a very inspired person with the awareness that the world has much to offer, but that there is also much to improve. She therefore wants to do everything in her power to make the best possible contribution.
