Giorgio Trucchi

Giorgio Trucchi, periodista, radicado en Centroamérica desde 1998, es corresponsal de la Agencia Rel UITA y colabora con diferentes medios internacionales, entre otros, Alba Sud, ALAI, Rebelión, Kaos en la Red, Peacelink. También ha colaborado con el periódico digital Opera Mundi de Sao Paulo de Brasil y coordina el blog de noticias y la lista informativa “Nicaragua y más” (LINyM). En 2005 y 2009 recibió el Premio Derechos Humanos al Periodismo, otorgado por el Movimiento de Justicia y Derechos Humanos (MJDH) de Brasil, por las coberturas: la lucha de los ex trabajadores bananeros de Nicaragua afectados por el pesticida Nemagón y el golpe de estado en Honduras.
