The first cross-strait peace forum was inaugurated in Shanghai Friday with emphasis put on 10 points dedicated to end the impasse between both parts. In this First Peace Forum there were former officials in charge of national security affairs and scholars from think tanks across the Taiwan Strait were in attendance.
This meeting allowed for discussions of a very broad angle said the vice president of the National Organization of Studies about Taiwan, Zhaou Zhihuai.
