About 1300 participants run for peace and nonviolence, following to the slogan assigned by Iraqi NGOs to the marathon, and 250 activists joined the sessions of the conference: about 150 Iraqis from all provinces and 100 internationals from Turkey, Jordan, Italy, Spain, USA, Canada, Germany, UK, Australia, Norway, Sweden, Netherlands, and France. The Conference Declaration approved in the closing session is being finalized in English, Arabic and Kurdish by the ICSSI staff and will be sent soon to participants for final approval.
