As part of the national programme of renewable energy, Algeria is to build 67 electrical energy plants.
Within the next twenty years Algeria proposes to reach a total production of 22 thousand megawats, 12 thousand for the local market and the remaining 10 thousand for export.
The programme also stipulates the construction of 27 conventional plants, six solar energy plants and seven wind farms.
