On June 11 Rachel Heaton gave a speech at the ending Panel of the Fearless Cities. Acte públic in Barcelona with Vandana Shiva and other speakers from the front-lines women-lead communities : “Don’t wait until you can’t drink water and breathe the air. We need to Stand up, Build and Resist now!” she declared.
Fearless Cities Meeting gathered 700 activists, municipalists and community organizers from all over the world during 3 days in the Catalan City.
On June 12 citizens of three continents decided to stop Santander Bank impunity with a global day of action. This bank – responsible for most of Porto Rico’s Debt and current economical collapse – has been judged by Spanish authorities for massive tax evasion.
