The Italian bank Intesa SanPaolo is a direct investor in the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL). After a successful initial campaign on March 30, Resistance Events Italy, Women’s March Milan and AEPC Italy have organized a follow-up online protest for Thursday April 27 to step up the pressure. We will demand that Intesa SanPaolo divest from DAPL. Our Open Letter of Response calls out the bank’s unfounded justifications for financing this reprehensible project. On April 27, we will make our voices heard!
HOW DOES AN ONLINE PROTEST WORK?
We all send messages to Intesa SanPaolo via Twitter, Facebook and email on the same day, April 27, 2017. We want to bombard them with messages to divest! Take 5 minutes on Thursday, April 27 to demand that Intesa SanPaolo divest from the DAPL project by sending messages to them directly across multiple social media platforms using hashtags #WaterIsLIfe #DivestDAPL.
