The defeat of Syria , will accomplish a long US´ goal: to get rid of the Russian military seabase in Tartus, at the Syrian coast. The MediterannianSea shall be a US Lake´-full stop! The grand plan is to take over Syria which is a stepping stone for the next goal, Iran and then Russia. Not long after the civil war had started in Syria the US deployed its Air Craft Carrier Dwight Eisenhower, in December 2012, at the Syrian Coast. The goal is redrawing the entire map of the Middle East, which would favour Israel.

From my perspective: The war on Syria is a deadly threat to Russia. That´s why Russia intervened in the first place. The grand plan for the US is to take over Syria as they have done in Ukraine. The US troops are now in Syria, certainly not against ISIS, which is created by the US.
The US has made a pincher around the whole Russian perimeter: Take a look at a world map! With additional US bases in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Poland as well as Rumania and Bulgaria. The US Sixth Fleet stationed in Italy, at the Mediterannian Sea, has now entered the Black Sea.
There are perpetual wargames in the Eastern Sea, with the cost to Sweden. Sea, Air, land- wargames with US/Nato troops, Swedish and Finnish troops the name of one of the largest is BALTOPS-which means Baltic Operations. The aim: to prohibit Russia during a crisis to enter the Atlantic through Öresund. In my understanding they are training for attack on Russia.
In the northern Norway, northern Sweden every other year since 2006: Huge wargames-Cold Response nr 1,2,3,4,5,6 (with 16.300 troops not far from the Russian border). Cold Resonse nr 5 we got to know about because one plane collided to Kebnekajse mountainand in northern Sweden and five died, why media leaked about the maneuvre.The other exercises – silence.
Last year, beginning of June, 2015, I was together with 7 women, young and old, arrested at Lule Airfield, in the North of Sweden, when we in protest, cut the fence and crept into the exercise area. This was a protest against the huge air war exercise, Arctic Challenge Exercise, with 115 warplanes, 99 in the area simultaneously, and of course the US Air Force in the middle. This is happening in the neutral and non aligned country of Sweden.
