Taking advantage of the COPS Climate change conference in Paris, the World Future Council published an important new resource “The Climate-Nuclear Nexus” (PDF format). Jurgen Sheffran, is the report’s lead author along with John Burroughs, Anna Leidreiter, Rob Van Riet and Alyn Ware. After describing the existential threats that both nuclear weapons and climate change pose to humanity and the linkages between them, section 3 points to a range of activities to establish “a foundation for peace that prevents climate change and nuclear war.”
