Nearly 1000 people belonging to various ethnic groups involved in fighting each other in a civil war last year, walked today, united through peace and non-violence in Kisumu, a city located on the banks of Lake Victoria. Heading the march walked those who suffer most from violence in the world: Children.
This march, initiated from the center of the city, halted in front of the main institutions and schools in the city, concluding in the most impoverished areas.
