Bangladesh has 54 connecting rivers with India, of which India has dammed 30. As per international convention, an upstream country can never dam a common international river that would damage the river system of the downstream country. Bangladesh does not get water, farmers cannot grow crops as the ‘dominant’ India closes the dams during the summer season. And during the monsoon season, due to dams, people drown in water. It is a two-pronged policy of India. Bangladesh wants friendship with India, not domination.” At the same time, it can be said, “Friendship will be based on fairness, equality, not dominance.”
India has continued ‘dominance’ with the direct support of dictator Sheikh Hasina. But as the students of this country have shown a red card to dictator Hasina, Bangladesh will also show a red card to India’s dominance.” In this Indian aggressive attitude, anti-Indian sentiment is increasing in Bangladesh. At the same time, dimming the achievement of our student body to gain 2nd freedom.
Bangladesh is witnessing another unimaginable picture since the floods started. When the students asked for help in helping the flood victims, the vast masses of Bangladesh extended their helping hands with whatever they had. People’s love is being accepted centrally in Dhaka University’s TSC.
