As a part of the ongoing campaign to create awareness among the public and enlist the support of like-minded organizations, the District Promotion Team has organized a massive painting (water colour)/, digital art competition for students on Sunday 25th August at Thavakkara UP School, Kannur, Kerala, India.
More than 75 participants expressed their anguish in the calamities caused by wars and violence in various parts of the globe using their skill in art as a vehicle. The main subject was “Peace activities”.
Kannur municipal corporation Mayor Mr Muslih Madathil inaugurated the event. He appreciated the efforts being made by the organization World without Wars & without Violence to spread the message of peace and non-violence, which is the need of the hour.
