The Baloch National Movement’s Netherlands chapter held its third general body elections named in honor of Shaheed Fida Ahmed, in Amsterdam, the capital city of the Netherlands. The elections were attended by the chairman of the Baloch National Movement, Dr Naseem Baloch, and central cabinet member Haji Naseer Baloch.
At the beginning of the event, members observed a two minute silence for Baloch martyrs. This was followed by the Baloch national anthem, sung by Abid Qadir and Bakhshi Baloch. Haji Naseer and Abdul Ghani spoke about the Baloch national resistance and the life of Fida Ahmed, the founder of the Baloch National Youth Movement (BNYN).
The secretary and finance reports were presented, after which comrades of BNM questioned the ex cabinet of the Baloch National Movement Netherlands chapter on these reports. The former president, Abdul Wahid answered the questions and delivered a speech about the Baloch national resistance.
Under the leadership of Haji Naseer, Dr Latif and Nabeel Khan, the election commission committee was established. Muheem Baloch was elected as president, Waheed Majeed as vice president, Didag Baloch as general secretary, Bahaar Baloch as finance secretary, and Aliya Baloch as deputy general secretary. This cabinet will serve the Baloch National Movement Netherlands chapter for two years.
After the elections, BNM chairman Dr Naseem Baloch delivered a speech, congratulating the newly elected cabinet members. He spoke about the Baloch national resistance and guided BNM comrades on the path to Balochistan’s independence. He emphasized that the liberation of Balochistan is the only way for the Baloch people to live in peace and prosperity.
