Gun violence, so common in the United States, hit today the Republican pre-candidate and former President Donald Trump, who was shot down from the stage where he was speaking during a public event held in Butler, Pennsylvania, being evacuated by Secret Service agents who apparently managed to get him out despite having registered wounds and leaving with blood on his face.

In a few minutes the presidential pre-candidate was evacuated after hearing the shots, Trump’s campaign command reported through a brief statement that he was “fine”, and that an ambulance had taken him from the place.

From the images that have circulated, he would have apparently been shot in his right ear. Meanwhile, a large police presence has been deployed by the Secret Service and helicopters are circling the area.

When will they realize that this violence will get them nowhere? How do both pre-candidates plan to put an end to armed violence?
