The Korean American Peace Fund, an organization under the NAKASEC umbrella that shares office space with MinKwon New Jersey, has purchased billboard ads in New York City’s famed Times Square. The ads run from Monday, July 22, 2024, through Sunday, July 28, 2024, for one full week. These ads call for an end to the Korean War, and with the Korean American Peace Fund, MinKwon is drumming up support for House Resolution 1369, the Peace on the Korean Peninsula Act.
To promote the Times Square billboard ads, MinKwon is holding a special Times Square Selfie Raffle, with MinKwon swag bag winners to be announced on Monday, July 29.
To enter MinKwon’s Times Square Selfie Raffle, visit Times Square between July 22 and July 27,
- snap a selfie posing with a peace sign that also captures the Korean American Peace Fund billboard ad,
- and tag us on any of our socials @minkwoncenter.
On Monday, July 28, MinKwon will share out swag bags with 7 raffle winners, one for each day that the ads run in Times Square.
