Baloch Nation is struggling for their freedom and striving for an independent Balochistan, free from Pakistan’s control. Balochistan was an independent country in 1947 but it was occupied by Pakistan on 27 March 1948, now Baloch are struggling to regain their independence from Pakistan.
Pakistan was created by foreign powers like Britain and America to serve their interests as a base to control South Asia. Even today, these foreign powers continue to run Pakistan and use it for their interests as army bases and for political blackmailing other powers in the region like Russia and China. At the time Pakistan aligns with Saudi Arabia’s interests and acts as agents of Iran by using the name of Shia and sunni. However, with the recent negotiations between Saudi Arabia and Iran, Pakistan can not be a longer play a role in their survival.
Chinese and Canadian companies must rethink their projects in Balochistan, like CPEC and Chaghi Reco Dik projects, to adopt a long-term policy. They should negotiate directly with Baloch Leadership because China is a neighbor and when Balochistan gains independence. Countries like India, China, Iran, and Afghanistan will benefit from the peace that follows. Without peace, trade and commerce will not thrive in the world.
Balochistan is a special country connecting the middle east, Africa, and Europe through its ocean
The Baloch have faced military oppression, forced disappearances, and extrajudicial killings for decades and Pakistan’s military presence in Balochistan is an ongoing human rights issue.
The international community needs to help the Baloch Nation gain its freedom and become part of the peace process in the region, but not as a subject of Pakistan. The international community should pressure Pakistan to withdraw its army and accept the Baloch’ demand for complete freedom.
With the support of the international community, the Baloch can finally achieve their dream of an independent and free Balochistan, where their rights are respected, can flourish, and thrive as a sovereign nation.
