After being suspended due to the pandemic for two years, Primavera del Libro, one of the most important publishing fairs in Chile, is back in Parque Bustamante, in the commune of Providencia. In its 11th version, many publishers have come together with all their new publications, along with a programme that includes live music, talks, panel presentations, various outdoor cultural activities, food carts, author signings and children’s activities that are part of this new event, now held in person.
It should be noted that starting tomorrow, October 1st, people are allowed to attend this type of massive event without a mobility pass or the use of masks.
This Fair will remain open until 2 October, from 10 am to 9 pm, with more than 140 publishers that showcase Chilean bibliodiversity in a new version of the Spring of the Book, with free admission.
The event offers the reading public the chance to meet different national authors, attend the more than 70 cultural activities programmed for the whole family and visit the various book stands that are displayed in the central Parque Bustamante.
Pressenza is exhibiting its latest book “Periodismo No Violento” by 5 authors, at Virtual Ediciones’ stand n°12, as well as “Muros que hablan” by Riccardo Marinai and David Meléndez, also published by Virtual Ediciones. There you can also find editions of books by humanist authors such as Marcela Latorre’s trilogy on education, publications by Gonzalo García Huidobro, Luis Ammann, Pía Figueroa, Javier Tolcachier, Guillermo Sullings and of course all the different books by Silo.
