On this show we speak with Andrea Carola Robles about her work organizing the International Women’s Month Celebration at IATI Theater on March 8. Andrea talks about being a young feminist and LGBT artist activist fighting sexisim and misogyny and giving voice to minorities. “it’s a function of an artist to stand for something and everything I do has a purpose.”

Our main event Women in the Arts will take place on Sunday, March 8th, which will consist of two-parts: the first part being a panel of female artists discussing the current landscape and role of women in art, followed by, a poetry reading by some of the most vanguardist female voices of our city. We will also be showcasing art pieces by female artists.
