La Paz, Nov 10 (Prensa Latina) Bolivian Constitutional President Evo Morales called new general elections, at a press conference from the presidential hangar on Sunday.
The Bolivian leader noted that after listening to criteria of members of the Bolivian Workers’ Union and other social sectors, he decided to renovate all members of the Electoral Supreme Court (TSE).
He added that in the next few hours, the Plurinational Legislative Assembly, in agreement with all political forces, will establish the procedures to do so.
Likewise, he noted that new national elections will be called, so that the people can elect their authorities democratically and incorporate new political stockholders.
Morales said that changes will be made in the Departmental Electoral Courts as well.
The Bolivian president ratified the need to establish a negotiating table to pacify the country and prevent bloodshed in Bolivia.
