It’s unbelievable. It’s like something out of a Marvel movie.
Monsanto, Bayer and co have bribed, cheated and lied their way into putting poison into our food. Glyphosate is ‘probably carcinogenic’ according to independent researchers. But these companies fiddled the system in order to get it onto our shelves and make a profit.
What they’ve done is so beyond the pale that together with our partners we launched criminal proceedings against them.
Everyone needs to hear about this. They can’t get away with it.

The decision re-approve this toxic chemical will be taken on 18 May by the EU. We need to make as much noise as possible before then. We can use our EU membership to stop the spread of this poison. EU citizens can be the underdog hero in this piece. Just because they’re bigger than us, doesn’t mean they’re above the law. Over the last few months public pressure and attention has been working and decision makers are reconsidering their positions.
