The Red Nation and Hope Alvarado of the UNM Kiva Club are requesting nationwide support on this effort to abolish the University of New Mexico’s seal which features a Conquistador and a Frontiersman. It’s too much to ask Native people to tolerate.
If you are affiliated with a group that would be willing to sign on to the draft letter it would give the local efforts a boost.
