Why is Denmark again in the limelight for the wrong things?
As an interventionist, refugee-creating country why does it combine militarism with xenophobia and refugee-repelling laws?
The new draconian laws can be seen as a peak point of changed Danish policies over nearly 20 years.
The governments and parliamentarians yet again soil the image of Denmark and increase the risk of terror attacks in the future.

I’m deeply concerned by the fact that dimensions of ethics, values, humanity, solidarity and responsibilities in a globalising world has vanished completely from the political and media discourse.
The world is right in being concerned and must keep its eye on Denmark – and Sweden, too – in the future.
