The Canberra Commission unanimously agreed in their report in 1996:
“The proposition that nuclear weapons can be retained in perpetuity and never be used – accidentally or by decision – defies credibility.
The only complete defence is the elimination of nuclear weapons and assurance that they will never be produced again.”
Dr. Gunnar Westberg is an eminent expert who has worked for decades to alert fellow human beings to the existential threat we are forced – by a little elite of less than 1,000 nuclear managers – to live with every day.
Today he believes it is either us or the nuclear weapons. Co-existence is not possible.

TFF’s 30th Anniversary Benefit Event and lecture program on September 11-12?
Here is all about it – the event, the live lectures (to be video-streamed worldwide) and the new Transnational Magazine that we launch on this occasion.
It’s a benefit event. Please consider rewarding our 30 years of totally independent scholarly work in support of the UN norm of ‘peace by peaceful means’ here:
Finally, here the two founders reflect on 30 years with peace and on what happened to world peace.
TFF provides research and public education related to the basic UN Charter norm that “peace shall be established by peaceful means”.
We are always happy to hear from you or try to answer your questions.
