Nobody ignores anymore that only 1.6 billion people are living in dire poverty in the world, according to a recent study by the Oxford poverty and human development initiative.
Nobody ignores anymore that more than 1 billion people worldwide (every six personn) are affected by the scourge of hunger, that two out of three people live in poverty, and that every three seconds a child dies of extreme poverty in the world.
Nobody ignores anymore that one billion people live on less than a dollar a day, and 2.8 billion people, almost half the world’s population, live on less than $ 2 a day.
Nobody ignores anymore that 20% of the world population owns 90% of wealth; that women earn 25% less than men for equal skills; that more than one billion people has no access to safe water …
The UN General Assembly decided to create and make justiciable a new human right: the right to food.
The problems are manifold: political, economic, ecological, sociological, health … But they are of universal concern, not matter for specialists anymore. We are all concerned, each one at one’s level.
Sharing create right relationships and peace may only result in right relationships.
What to do?
What if Sharing was the solution?
This march reflects the will of the people to develop a current trend more and assertive toward Sharing and cooperation.
