This ongoing massacre in Gaza is like a fight between a guy with a toothpick and a guy with a machete… You may ask: So, why is the guy with the toothpick fighting the guy with the machete; he knows he can’t win – toothpick against a machete. He must be crazy.

Well, yes, he’s crazy; but also no, because, Hamas needs to provoke Israel into going to war, for them to stay in power. The same with Netanyahu, and Israel’s politicians – Israel needs to be in constant threat, so that they can continue to control their citizens. It’s always about instilling fear and control of the people. This strategy is as old as the oldest civilization on Earth.
Actually, it’s the same with the USA, it has to be in a never ending war, to be able to curtail the rights of its citizens. Can you imagine the writ of habeas corpus lifted in a “democracy”? If they aren’t engage in a war, they will create one. Remember all those “false flag” incidents in its history?
So, what’s the solution? A permanent one, I don’t have; but an immediate one – maybe…
The first steps needed to end the conflict in Palestine:
Step 1 – Immediate cease fire from both sides
Step 2 – Immediate withdrawal of all troops at the border of Gaza
Step 3 – Immediate withdrawal from occupied territories by Israel
Only after accomplishing these steps can a real working reconciliation between the 2 states be initiated.
Then, after Israel’s return to its borders before 1948, both Palestine and Israel should recognize each other’s statehood.
And, Israel should assist Palestine in its recovery, and help its Semite brothers in their industrial and technological development. And the annual 3 billion dollar aid that the US gives Israel – that is being used to build new settlements – should also be used to rebuild Gaza.
And finally, the Jewish peoples should start thinking about integrating with the rest of the world – so they will not be singled out as what happened over their long history. Without realizing it, Israel – by building physical and psychological walls around themselves, are actually, turning their nation into another ghetto – again.
They can start by erasing from their minds that they are God’s “chosen people”; because, if indeed they are “chosen”, doesn’t it imply that the rest of us are God’s “rejects”?
