During Africa Month in May, the World African Diaspora Union (WADU) would like to encourage all Africans to organize and participate in activities culminating in the anniversary of African Liberation Day on May 25, 2014. May 25 is a critical period in our history when African leaders established the Organization of African Union (OAU). The pressing agenda led by President Kwame Nkrumah in 1963 was to establish a united states of Africa for Africans to finally control their destiny after centuries of slavery, imperialism and colonialism. Though failed in 1963, in 2003 some key leaders with the late President Moumar Khaddafi revived this vision for a Union Government resulting in the transformation of OAU into the African Union (AU). By the 50th anniversary of OAU on May 25 2013, the AU agenda was again hijacked under a well orchestrated colossal colonial “white fog of war” across the continent. Under siege and “held hostage”, the AU leaders recommitted to an integrated Africa by 2063.

During May 25, 2014 anniversary tributes WADU will collaborate with key Pan African organizations across the African world to promote our Pan African legacy to advance the Pan African Government. WADU will mainly work with those representing the All African Peoples’ Revolutionary Party (AAPRP), established by President Kwame Nkrumah to help spearhead the liberation of Africa under the leadership of Kwame Ture. WADU will also organize the annual Ambassador Dudley Thompson Pan African Legend tribute to Baba John Watusi Branch this May 2014 at the AU Office in NY. Baba Watusi was a great Pan African cultural and business leader who contributed immensely to Africa’s economy through regular Africa pilgrimages.

This June 2014, WADU will also participate in the NCOBRA conference to support issues regarding the mobilization of Africans to support Reparations. In July 2014, WADU will commemorate its and the 114th anniversary of the formal launching of the Pan African Movement by convening townhall meetings across the Diaspora to “agitate, educate and organize” our people to act on behalf of Africa and African people. Starting August 2, 2014, WADU will participate in forums and activities during the visit of AU leaders to Washington D.C., and as part of the centennial celebration of the Honorable Marcus Garvey UNIA/AC L.

WADU as a premier organization was established in 2007 by some of the most credible and foremost Pan Africanists of the 20th century and has since continued the legacy of tireless, principled and relentless advocacy for a Union of Federated Africa, African monetary system, Pan African Military Command, Diaspora citizenship and representation in the AU. We have also pushed for a strong economic and cultural agenda for Africans Diaspora economic partnerships with leaders in the AU and for a Pan African curriculum across the African world.

WADU is very cognizant of the dangerous global forces arrayed against Africa from Europe, the U.S.A. and Asia, and their past and ongoing terrorizing effects on Africans. Thus, we are urging you to join our organization, or another, where-ever you are. Your leadership and support is needed right now to transform Africa into a self-determined Union Government by 2017 to halt the waves of destruction besieging our beloved African Homeland. Please join WADU this Africa Month by contacting us at Wadupam@aol.com, or wadupam.org. Kwaheri,

Sincerely African,
Minister P.D. Menelik Harris,
Secretary General
