The fourth international photo contest “Peace Is” was successfully completed on July 31. In that
lasted 4 months, the competition website www.eirinieinai.gr was visited by over 11,000 unique visitors
from around the world.
1500 images, 275 photographers from 53 countries, is the final report of the 2012 contest with the
theme “Peace Is – Peace is not.”
The judges have already begun to evaluate the photos and the announcement of results will
take place on September 21, the International Day of Peace with a special press release and on the
competition website.
On the same day, at 19:00, at the offices of the international organization “World Without Wars and
Violence” in Athens (Ermou 74A, 2nd floor) will be an event for the presentation of selected photos and
awarding of prizes and gifts.
