Today, when a large part of the world’s population have become aware of the real possibility of the collapse of the global financial system and when non-violent mass protests are spreading across the planet (Arab spring, “Outraged”-movement in Iceland, Spain and Greece, Occupy movement in the U.S. and Europe, student movement in Chile, etc.), the experiences of Chile are of great interest and a conversation about the world we aspire to becomes of utmost importance.
These are some of the topics that Tomás Hirsch – Chilean reference of Universal Humanism – will deal with in a lecture developed in an open discussion format on Thursday March 1st, 7 p.m.
