Letter to Pressenza:
Hello Dear Friends,
We just completed the first stage of the campaign of 14 new schools that joined the education of non-violence since January 9, 2012.
Now we are 31 schools in Togo but the target for this year 2012 is to reach 100 schools. It is quite possible because 18 new schools have just joined the project.
* The themes of our first meeting with schools:
1-Different forms of violence (physical, economic, psychological,
racial, sexual, religious).
2-The demonstration of different forms of violence with examples in support.
3-The world of violence:
In this section, the students meet in small groups (workshop) to
discuss the violence that bothers most all of them.
At the end of their trade, we try to find all the elements that are holding back violence.
4-Presentation of some famous people of non-violence like Mahatma
Gandhi, Martin Luther King and Silo,
* The second meeting with these schools is on the following topics:
1-The tactics of nonviolent struggle (Phenomenology)
2-Spirituality, religion and nonviolence (Existentialism)
3-The humanist attitude (New Humanist or Humanist Universalist)
The objective of this project is part of the Humanize the Earth endeavours generally.
