Her final moments and transit towards the light were accompanied by ceremonies of Well-being that took place at various times throughout the day until dusk at various parks of Study and Reflection, particularly that in Punta de Vacas near her home town.
The work of this noted Mendocino sculptor includes ceramics with strong expression reflected in textures, slips and metal oxides making stone surfaces, aging the material using ancient techniques and forms that recreate a primitive language.
But her career is also remarkable for her construction of the fountain of Punta de Vacas Park, and another fountain she made with her partner Esteban Boasso for the Park of Study and Reflection, Las Manantiales located in Chile.
