Simultaneous with the October initiation of the World March for Peace and Non-violence that will pass through Oceania and the Far East on its way to Europe, the Middle East team began its activities in Tel Aviv with a Fair for Peace and Non-Violence.

These activities will continue in Egypt, Israel, Jordan and Turkey. Both teams will meet in Switzerland and tour Europe and Northwest Africa in November. In December, the march will cross the Americas, concluding at the Punta de Vacas Park for Study and Reflection, at the foot of Mount Aconcagua, Argentina, on January 2, 2010, where the gathering will issue a demand for total nuclear disarmament and the unilateral end of violence.
