The Mayor of the District of General Alvarado in the Province of Buenos Aires, Mr Patricio Hogan, met the promotional team of the World March for Peace and Nonviolence and formalized his support for the cause.
In the meeting, Hogan offered the use of the municipal Press Department to publicize the event. Thus, both radio and television advertisements will be broadcast by the local media in Miramar.
General Alvarado is a booming municipality in the south of the Province of Buenos Aires, of which the municipal seat is the city of Miramar, a coastal resort where thousands of Argentinians choose to spend their summer vacations. It is located 50 km from the city of Mar del Plata.
