The presentation of the nuclear submarine by the Indian Navy is a step towards regional destabilisation and will provoke a nuclear weapons race, according to the Pakistani Navy.
Responding to the Indian Navy presentation of the nuclear submarine, the Pakistani Navy Spokesperson, Salman Ali, declared that the nuclear submarine in India will produce long-term effects, not only in Pakistan, but throughout the Indian Ocean and in the neighbouring coastal countries.
The spokesperson added that it is a step towards the destabilisation of the region, which could be dangerous for peace and the balance of power.
Ali said that it is up to the Pakistani Government to decide whether to build a nuclear submarine, whereas the Navy is ready to execute any governmental decision.
