Today, President Zelaya was carrying out a non-binding consultation of the Honduran people regarding whether or not to form a Constituent Assembly to reform the existing constitution.
Some time ago Zelaya declared his left wing ideology and his affinity with the processes advanced by Presidents Castro, Chavez, Correa, Morales and others and in addition to taking Honduras into ALBA (Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas).
The response of South American governments remains to be seen regarding what is emerging in Honduras, while we await information of the non-violent organisation that may happen within the population.
