Libyan Colonel Muammar Gaddafi continues to unleash a wave of violence as he struggles to wipe out a growing uprising against his rule. Reports continue to emerge of scores of human rights abuses by pro-Gaddafi forces. A number of people were reportedly killed today when Libyan forces attacked a mosque in the town of Az Zawiyah.

Amnesty International has urged the Yemeni authorities to end its crackdown on anti-government demonstrations after two protesters were reported to have been killed in Sana’a.
They would be the first fatalities in the capital since the outbreak of unrest earlier this month and bring the total killed to 16, including 13 in the southern city of Aden.

As protests continue in Bahrein, mobilizing people to the squares and public areas to claim for their demands, we tried to interview one of the non-violent Human Rights activist working there but he preferred not to give his name and just explained us the main reasons that are moving people against their government. Here we publish those reasons.

Libyan leader Moamer Kadhafi ordered his forces to crush an uprising that has rocked his 41-year rule, warning armed protesters they will be executed and vowing to fight to the end.
In a defiant and rambling television speech, Kadhafi vowed to remain in Libya as leader, saying he would die as a martyr in the land of his ancestors and fight to the “last drop” of his blood.

I was working in Libya as a technician at the ship-shore radio station, Tripoli, when Muammar Gaddafi led the bloodless coup in 1969. I was on the overnight shift when the new regime, headed by the Revolutionary Command Council (RCC), abolished the monarchy and proclaimed the new Libyan Arab Republic – thus launching Mr Gaddafi onto the grand stage.

After two years of several efforts and failures, finally it has been decided the creation of a new Park of Study and Reflection for the Czech Republic. The place is called Březno and it is located at about 45 minutes from Prague going North-West. In the site there are already buildings for the Center of Studies, Center of Work and for the Workshop.

During the same days in which at the Czech Republic the decision of creating a new Park of Study and Reflection is taken, at the existing one of Mikebuda in Hungry, it has been bought the new Center of Studies. It is located at the land next to the Park and it has already some existing buildings of an old school, which can be re-utilized after reparations.

World without Wars is following the dramatic events of recent days in Libya with deep concern. The victory of non-violent popular protest in Tunisia and Egypt clearly did not serve as a lesson for Gaddafi who responds to demonstrations by hiring mercenaries, firing rockets and shooting protesters from helicopters, blaming “thugs, inmates, foreigners and Islamists”!

Latin America is definitely on the move: there are multiple events taking place in political, economic, social, cultural, ethnic, institutional, religious and spiritual fields, showing a new moment.
